Morning sketches!
Here, I am sharing some watercolor and inks sketches I did, one morning.
I would like to have a better drawing and creative habit. I need to have a better schedule and give myself more time to draw.
In a perfect world, I would draw each and every morning before doing anything on the computer. Since I am not working at a regular job, at this moment, it’s a good idea to start this habit.
I’m not there, yet, but the intention is and I hope to follow it as much as possible.
Here is a quick watercolor sketch of my black cat, Morgane, waiting in front of the door. She is becoming so demanding since the sunny days are back :p
She is always asking me to open the door to our back patio for her. When she comes back in, it only takes about a few minutes before she asks me to open the door again for her.
And she can play this little game the entire day. Argh!
And our trusty coffee machine!
I like to use the bodum better when Olivier’s not there. Because I’m good with just one or two coffee cups, during the morning.
But, this time, Olivier had got up earlier and made some for both of us.
Eventually, I will certainly draw the bodum.

I am so in love with your tomato! I don’t know what it is about it that appeals so – but i just love it! I wish i had just 1/10th of your drawing ability!
Morning ritual – meandering through my garden, hot cup of coffee in hand and in my pajamas with a big blanket wrapped around my shoulders to keep off the chill and to hide my pajamas! I am probably not fooling my neighbors but at least i feel better about being out and about in my pajamas!
I’m glad you like the tomato, Pam!
I am planning on drawing the plants I have as well as others yummy vegetables.
They are so interesting to draw. I hope you will enjoy them!
You are such a natural and a pro at this! We need to exchange abilities in for one day.
And, you know what, I wish I was as good as you to substain a blog.
I love your morning ritual! It seems so comfy and it must really help you stay in the “present moment”. I love how gardening and being with my plants help to ground myself. It’s almost like meditation, isn’t?
