Getting ready for the Montreal Expozine, this weekend!
In the last days, I’ve been working on some illustrations and a very special zine for this weekend’s Expozine, in Montreal.
I present you the first issue of “The Crafty Life: Best of the comic & blog 2009-10″
At first, I wanted to make it a comic-only zine. But, after thinking about it, I thought it would be more interesting to include some of my best blog posts, as well.
It was also a great way to archive some of my best work during the last year.
(Archive Along, anyone? )
Inside this zine, you will also find all of “The Crafty Life” comic that’s been published in Craft Leftovers.
Included also is my “Crafty City guide to Montreal‘ which has been previously published in the Summer 2010 issue of Craft Leftovers.
And speaking of Craft Leftovers, I’ll also be selling lots of them at Expozine!
I ordered them for this special annual event. I believe it is the first time they are available in Canada at a Zine fair.
So make sure to check them out at my table!
And since Expozine is also all about art, at the last minute, I decided that I needed to sell art prints!
On the above picture, you see the originals of the cute arts prints I will be selling. They were made with colored and HB pencils, only.
Each of them are 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 and printed on a quality 80 lb, textured paper. I only made 15 prints of each image for the fair.
And you think that’d be enough? Nope! I recently discovered the joys of creating ATC/ACEO.
So I will be selling thoses small 2 ½ X 3 ½ inches original arts, as well.
As you can see, right now, I’m working on a mermaid serie.
Well, I think that’s enough for right now. I may add some new things but I will talk about them in another post as I need to actually “make” them before talking about them. :p
