Collaborative Project: Advent Calendar Christmas Tree
A couple of months ago, Pam from Gingerbread Snowflakes asked me if I would like to contribute to an Advent Calendar project idea she had in mind.
I’ve known Pam from her blog and I adore collaborative projects with bloggers. So I was more than happy to agree and participate in this great crafty projects!
All the ornaments for this free advent calendar christmas tree were illustrated by me and I really hope you will enjoy this collaborative Christmas project.
How can I get my free Advent Calendar?
First off, you need to head over to Pam’s blog post.
Over there, she will explain everything. From the materials you need and how to make it.
Then, what?
Once you understand how to make your very own advent calendar, you come back to this blog post so you can get the free ornaments!
You have 2 choices.
1) You can get either the ornaments in black & white. Thoses were made to be colored. (It’s fun to do with kids, a crafty partner or even by yourself! )
2) Or you can take it easy and get the already colored ornaments.
There’s two pages of ornaments for a total of 25 ornaments.
By the way, I made the 25th ornament as a star so you can put it on top of your tree, if you want to.

Thank you, Fanie, for collaborating with me on this project! I had so much fun working with you, learning to build my own tree, playing with the magnet sheets. But the best part of all was seeing your drawings and then seeing them become ornaments. n nThey make me smile every single time I walk by my fridge! I am not waiting til Advent to enjoy your work – the tree and the ornaments are up now and will remain up until the end of January!
You're welcome, Pam!
And thank you to YOU, I seriously had lots of fun and learned a lot from making this advent calendar. n nUntil the end of january? Woohoo! That's so awesome! As long as your husband don't mind, eheh! ^-^
What a wonderful idea! As I was reading I was thinking these would be fun if they were black and white so we could color them in. Then I saw that you already thought of that! Thank you.
Hi Robin,
nActually, I was suposed to make them only in black and white THEN decided that maybe some people would appreciate to have them in color. I'm glad the opposite is true, as well! nYou're welcome and enjoy your Advent calendar.
Fanie, nI love these! I am printing them up as we talk. I will be doing the black and white ones and then letting children color them in themselves. I'm actually going to print up a few extras to give to some special young kids in my life! I know they and their parents will LOVE this! nThanks! nRebecca@RootsAndWingsCo
Hi Rebecca,
nI am so glad you are going to give a few of them to some kids you love, this holiday season. This really is the main reason I made theses: to make people happy and smile. nYou're very welcome and let us know how their reaction was! Ehe!
This is SO AWESOME! I can't wait to print them – both my kids are magnet-obsessed!
Eheh! I'm glad that your kids will love this project, Sam.
