Market pictures: Pumpkins!
Once again (Just to make Pam jealous!
), I went to the Jean-Talon market.
Last time, I was a little disappointed because there were no Pumpkins, yet. I was really looking forward for them, but couldn’t find much.
Well, I guess the The Great Pumpkin has been listening to me because I found a bunch of them, today! Be prepared as there are lots of Pumpkin pictures following.
Including theses particular ones. I can’t remember their names which make me think I should bring a notepad next time I head over to the market.
Check out the size of this Pumpkin! I didn’t botter asking for the price as I knew I wouldn’t be able to bring it with me in the subway.
And thoses colored brocolis were there again! (Next to the pumpkins, of course…)
I think that if there’s still some of them around the next time I head to the market, I’ll have to take some.
Yes, “Patisson” is a kind of funny flat pumpkin. Who would have thought?
If I’d get one, I’d have to name it “Robert”! :p (Insert comedy drum roll sound, here.)
While I was taking pictures of all thoses amazing pumpkins, a group came close to me with a “Tour Guide”. He was giving them information about the different pumpkins and vegetables at the market. I found it very interesting and leaned a little closer to listen to him.
By the way, thoses funny green pumpkins next to the group have a “Swan” shape and are “for decorations purposes only”.
And they weren’t the only “decorative pumpkins” that I saw. It’s funny to see that so many of them cannot be eaten and are grown for decorations.
Blame it on the market, ep!
And take a look at thoses Airbrushed Pumpkins. This is another reminder, for myself, that I need to learn airbrush, one day!
When I looked at the pictures, on my computer, I thought: “Hey! I should have taken that cute Spiderman, one!”
Oh, and the Elmo, too!

And the apples! You need to add some “balance” with all theses pumpkins. ![]()
The man who worked at this kiosk reminded me so much of my father. He had big blues eyes and hair like him. He even dressed like my dad! I find it so weird when I meet people that looks like my parents.
Speaking of them, I’m going to visit them tomorrow, so I may not blog for a couple of days.

I have another Halloween makeup tutorial coming up and I am planning to post it this weekend. In the meantime, feel free to leave a comment if you enjoyed this new market post.
